Parque National El Cope, Sarigua Desert, David, Mangrove Forests, Isla Paridas, Aloutta Sanctuary, Cerra Punto Guadelupe

Here are some photos of the cloud forest located in El Cope. I got here late in the week and missed most of the better photo opportunities, but these are still good.

The Sarigua Desert that's really a tropical dry forest ecologically speaking

My buddy Jack getting tribal with it...
Mangrove Forest of David and fishing excursions

Here you can see a bit of Volcan Baru (which I'm about to climb tonight) jutting through the cloud from our fishing boat

The awesome ray that got its tail cut off just before the photo...
My homestay family in David and Casey who stayed with me
Islas Paridas (Paradise Island), Gulf of Chiriqui National Park

Aloutta Howler Monkey Sanctuary in Chiriqui-close to David

Where I slept for my 3 days here...sometimes the monkeys would invade our camp

Jolie (the program director and there resident kinkachoo (sp?)
This was their dog Amigo, he had an abusive past as you can tell my the crushed right side of his face, but he was one of the nicest dogs I've ever met and he was great with the monkeys.

Nina (one of the baby monkeys currently being rehabilitated) loved to hang out with me and help me take notes)

That's all for now folks
